Currently, the ESC has a well-established telephone survey system (CATI), this survey system is funded by the University and is open for personals and institutions of the University for the purpose of academic research and training. In addition to the telephone survey facilities, the ESC has created a focus group interview room in 2000. Given the qualitative research method, the focus group interview room also provides important equipment facilitating qualified research. In order to have an efficient utilization these facilities, the ESC has provided relevant procedures specifying the proper use of that system.

In terms of service, given its unique characteristics, members of the ESC are willing to share their own research findings to people in both academy and government. The ESC members thus perform academic and social consulting function. In particular, problems related to survey research are often brought to the ESC and discussed.
